Across Nations transforms three containers into a radio station

This is a Labor of Love for our outreach mission partners Across Nations, and their dire need for a new facility to house radio stations and offices. Across Nations has referred to this project as a mission trip across the parking lot!

Take a look at an artist’s rendering of how this project will ultimately come together, fitting these 3 shipping containers into a complete Media Center for Across Nations.  They’ll be in charge of building out the container on the right-hand side, which will then be joined with the others.

Their container should be arriving at Faith in the next couple of weeks and they’ll get to work.  The first 2 build event projects are accounted for already, and SOME of the material has already been donated, (Thank You!!) but with a lot more to go. We’re looking for more willing servants and donors to step up!  Here’s how these each day’s build events will come together:

Mitch Amschler has graciously agreed to be our Construction Advisor for each day.  He’ll pull together the workers for that day from those volunteering, keeping the work crews small, usually 4-6 people, putting safety first. Work days will be Saturdays and 1 or 2 weekdays each week, starting early by 7-8am.  Volunteers will sign a liability waiver form provided by Across Nations and Faith Church.

About the Project

Across Nations is a multi-ministerial Christian organization located in Tse Bonito, New Mexico. Their focus and energy is training leaders, organizing events, building business, and most importantly, spreading the good news of the Life, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ to Native America in the best way they can.
Their team includes a wide range of talents and passions that all cooperate in order to live life as a body of Christ and be seen as a light in the heart of the Native American people. Though they come from diverse denominations, they have a common goal to follow Jesus to reach Indigenous communities.
Across Nations and Homes of Living Hope have joined forces with Flatiron’s Church High School students to build a modern radio station studio in Window Rock, Arizona. The radio station will incorporate three containers to accommodate multiple offices, sound studio, equipment storage, reception area, bathrooms, and small kitchen. When complete the new radio station will broadcast music, community announcements, news, programs, and sermons.
