Volunteers are the lifeblood of Homes of Living Hope. While we help move the projects along, we rely on the expertise and commitment of our project teams to execute the build-out of each facility. Whether looking to improve team dynamics or wanting to bring a community together, our projects are scalable (easily expandable or upgraded) to fit your group’s specific goals. There are no set timelines for completion and we work with you in the development of the project schedule.
At the very least, a basic build-out will take roughly 200 labor hours. The majority of the work for a basic container facility can be done by anybody who is comfortable using simple handyman tools such as hammers, screwdrivers and saws. From there, more complex builds can be done depending on the skills of your team and resources available. Homes of Living Hope will work with you on complicated craft work if needed.
Once completed, donated supplies are efficiently packed within containers to be sent to the recipient community. In-kind donation drives can be held prior to shipping to help fill the containers with humanitarian aid, which may include medical supplies, sports equipment, and school materials.
A Homes of Living Hope container is a wonderful project for schools, community service groups, youth and church groups, and businesses of all types and sizes.
