In addition to the school, Musana also runs a Community Health Center. Musana provides quality affordable compassionate health care to the community with the best facilities in the region. As…
Musana believes that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty within families and the community as a whole. With high drop out rates and a lack of quality standards within schools in Iganga, Uganda, Musana is committed to challenging the typical status quo. Instead, Musana is offering the community a quality vocational educational institution that goes beyond exclusively utilizing the Ugandan curriculum to raise the next generation of Ugandan leaders.
To this end, we are partnering with Homes of Living Hope to convert two used shipping containers into vocational education classrooms. This gives Musana the opportunity to provide a space where valuable trade skills in fine art, plumbing, electrical and carpentry can be taught to students.
As a result, young adults will be equipped mentally and physically for the next chapter of their lives. With the character, brains, and skills students will have the choice to either to continue their education, and utilize their trade to provide for themselves and their families, or both.
